 At Wilderness Horse Camp you'll be at a camp with riding you always dreamed of, all the riding you ever wanted to do without all those arena rules. It'll be the adventure of a lifetime.
You'll camp high in the mountains sharing a walled tent with wood floors with six to eight friends. The first fun days you'll be matched up with a horse and given lessons in Western Trail Riding. Riding will vary each day and could include trips to mountain lakes for splashing and swimming or overnight trips into Oregon's incredible Eagle Cap Wilderness Area. Riders will be grouped based on experience for rides that are also based on experience.
Besides riding, you'll learn horse care, arts, crafts, and, depending on the time of year you come, you can go to a rodeo or take part in a cattle drive.
Meals will be western fare served family style, and special dietary needs can be accommodated. Oh, and there might be a s'more or two around the campfire.
